Becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) can also be a springboard to other careers in health care. Those who successfully complete the New York State-approved Practical Nursing program at BOCES meet the qualifications for admission to the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nursing (NCLEX-PN).
The School, located at Wilson Technological Center’s Northport campus, helps prepare adults with the knowledge and skills necessary to meet the health needs of our ever-changing society. The low ratio of students to faculty allows many opportunities for individualized instruction.
