Regional Summer School 2008

Important Dates

Summer school 2008 will begin Monday, July 7 and end Thursday,
Aug. 14. Classes will meet Monday through Thursday plus the
first two Fridays in August. (See calendar below.)The program
will operate for 24 daily instructional periods consisting of 113
minutes and two days of NYS testing.

June 30 (Monday) Registration for participating districts only (10 am to 1 pm on a first come, first served basis)
July 1 (Tuesday) Open Registration for all students
(10 am to 1 pm on a first come, first served basis)
July 2 (Wednesday)

Mandatory Meeting for Teaching Staff
8:30 to 11:30 a.m.
at 31 Lee Ave., Wheatley Heights

July 7 (Monday) Classes Begin
July 22 (Tuesday) Midterm Exams
Aug. 6 – 12 Regents Review Classes
Aug. 12 (Tuesday) Last Day of Classes
Aug. 13 (Wednesday) Regents/RCT Testing
Aug. 14 (Thursday) Regents/RCT Testing

7:45 am  -  9:38 am

Period 2

9:41 am  -  11:34 am

Period 3

11:39 am  –  1:32 pm

(typically only used to schedule Physical Education or Health)
