The latest information from Albany will be discussed\, local vendors will do brief presentations and information will be shared. Breakfast will be provided. This is an excellent opportunity to network with fellow supervisors. DESCRIPTION:Join our science instructional specialists as they help you navigate expectations\, glean tips for set up and implementation\, and practice activities within each NYSED Science Investigation. Learn how these labs relate to the standards and how they can fit into your curriculum. Ask questions and collaborate with colleagues! INTERMEDIATE-LEVEL SCIENCE LAB INVESTIGATIONS (ILS) – TUESDAY\, MAY 23\, 2023 During this IN-PERSON workshop participants will receive an in-depth exposure to the new Lab Investigations from NYSED for intermediate school science. We will perform each lab\, have thorough discussions on the set up\, completion and areas of concern. You will unpack how they are related to the standards and where they fit into your curriculum. – We will have copies of the student directions and answer booklets. IMPORTANT NOTE: If you want the teacher’s guide and rubric please check with your school/district administrator about bringing your own copies or access to view it on-line.
