DESCRIPTION:This session will deliver an overview of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support with a focus on the early elementary grades and a strong Tier 1 program. The MTSS approach offers an evidenced based model of instruction and intervention that is rooted in the belief that all children can learn. The Connection of the MTSS components to the Academic and Behavioral Systems will be discussed and strategies for immediate use will be shared. School professionals will walk away with practical and comprehensive materials and resources. Educational practices and how MTSS translates to the classroom throughout the session will be discussed to maximize student success.
