DESCRIPTION:Audience: Grades K-6 general education teachers; reading teachers; special educators; ELA coaches; ELA\, ENL and Special Education directors; building and district administrators. Join us for a day to build your knowledge and confidence when teaching dyslexic children. According to the International Dyslexia Association\, perhaps as many as 20-25% of students have some of the symptoms of dyslexia\, including slow or inaccurate reading\, poor spelling\, poor writing\, weak comprehension\, or mixing up similar words. Let’s focus on small group instruction for mild\, moderate and severe dyslexics.
