The course will help prepare technicians and refresh existing technicians who want to earn certification from the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management. Scientific principles of processing, sterilization, storage, distribution and inventory control of medical and surgical instruments and equipment for the operating room, emergency room and other areas of the hospital or health care facility will be stressed.
