Our accredited program equips students with the essential skills to interact with patients and operate cutting-edge equipment, enabling them to create vital medical images crucial for diagnoses.

The Program Goal is to prepare competent entry-level sonographers in the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavior) learning domains for the following concentration(s):

  • Abdominal sonography – Extended
  • Adult cardiac sonography
  • Obstetrics and gynecology sonography
  • Vascular sonography

Through our comprehensive curriculum and hands-on training, students will be exposed  to all aspects of their chosen specialty, enabling them to excel in their careers as sonographers. The program is designed to meet unique learning needs.

Upon successful completion of this intensive two-year, full-time program, students qualify to sit for any of the four registry examinations offered by ARDMS (Abdomen, Obstetrics and Gynecology, adult cardiac, or vascular sonography), a remarkable opportunity available 60 days before graduation.

Immersed in a supportive learning environment at the Northport campus, students work with expert instructors who have extensive experience in their field. Small class settings contribute to the optimal learning experience.
