Important Topics for New Teachers That They Didn’t Teach You in College *IN PERSON* presented by Jacqueline Darvin – 8:30-2:30pm

This interactive workshop will assist new teachers in developing the communication skills they need to successfully interact with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators. Participants will respond to a series of vignettes aimed at exploring complex interpersonal interactions from multiple perspectives and will help teachers in their first five years of practice to problem-solve important topics that are not addressed in teacher preparation programs. Eligible for 6 hours CTLE credit. Can use 1 Consortium seat. If district pays, district approval must be confirmed prior to start of session.
