Fundations Level Pre K- K *IN PERSON* presented by Karen Lucchese – 8:30-2:30pm

Audience: Pre – K- K classroom teachers, reading teachers, and paraprofessionals. In this workshop, participants will explore the Fundations Teacher’s Manual and will leave the workshop feeling confident to use the manual as a tool for instruction.The various Learning Activities in the manual will be discussed and additional strategies will be provided to meet the needs of all learners. Time will be provided to view the necessary components of a lesson plan and a variety of lesson plans will be reviewed. In addition, different models will be explored to show the classroom set up of materials. Educators will also have time to discuss assessment data and the organization of small group instruction based on the needs of the students. There will also be a review of the on-line part of the program along with instructional slides. Participants are encouraged to bring their teacher’s manual to the workshop. Eligible for 6 hours CTLE credit. Can use 1 Consortium seat. If district pays, district approval must be confirmed prior to start of session.
