Vocabulary in the Content Areas (6-12) *IN PERSON* facilitated by Mike Ochs – 8:30-2:30pm

Content-area learning depends on vocabulary and knowledge. This workshop focuses on practical routines for teaching academic and domain-specific vocabulary in science, social studies, and beyond. Teachers learn how to select, teach, and revisit words so they support comprehension and writing across subjects. Eligible for 6 hours CTLE credit. If district pays, district approval must be confirmed prior to start of session.
