Choice Time with Purpose: Designing Student-Driven Learning Blocks K-5 – 3-hour VIRTUAL workshop facilitated by Carly Furino – 8:30-11:30am

October 19 @ 8:30 am - 11:30 am

Choice time is often treated as downtime-but when designed intentionally, it becomes a powerful driver of student independence, communication, and problem-solving. This session focuses on how to structure choice blocks that are purposeful, predictable, and academically meaningful. Educators will learn how to design engaging learning centers, establish clear routines that build independence, and use this time to observe and assess student growth in real time. Eligible for 3 hours CTLE credit. Can use 1/2 consortium seat. If district pays, district approved must be confirmed prior to start of session.
