Nourishing Connection: Restoring Energy, Clarity, and Well-Being for Educators *IN PERSON* facilitated by Corinne Cortes – 8:30-2:30pm
This full-day learning experience invites educators to explore the powerful connection between nourishment, energy, and emotional well-being through a grounded, practical lens. In the fast pace of today’s educational environments, it is easy to become disconnected from our own needs. This experience offers space to pause, reflect, and reconnect while exploring practices that support balance from the inside out. Throughout the day, participants will examine how daily habits-including nutrition, thought patterns, movement, rest, and self-care practices-influence energy, focus, resilience, and overall well-being. With an emphasis on realistic and sustainable changes, educators will explore practical ways to support both body and mind while navigating the demands of their professional roles. Through guided reflection, discussion, and experiential activities, participants will be introduced to practical strategies that encourage vitality, reduce stress, and support long-term well-being. The day emphasizes building awareness and developing simple, supportive routines that can be integrated into everyday life-both personally and professionally. Rather than prescribing a single approach to wellness, this experience encourages each educator to reflect on the practices that best support their own health, presence, and sustainability while caring for others. Eligible for 6 hours CTLE credit. Can use 1 consortium seat. Eligible for Guidance Consortium. If district pays, district approval must be confirmed prior to start of session.
