Meet Your Inner World: Practical Tools for Self-Awareness and Regulation *IN PERSON* facilitated by Corinne Cortes – 8:30-2:30pm

This full-day learning experience offers educators a supportive and reflective space to step away from the constant demands of educational life and turn inward with curiosity, compassion, and care. Rooted in a “parts work” approach, the day invites participants to gently explore the different aspects of themselves that emerge in moments of stress, overwhelm, responsibility, and care for others, recognizing these inner experiences as meaningful sources of insight rather than problems to be fixed. Throughout the day, educators will be guided in developing greater awareness of their inner world, including the protective parts that seek to manage challenges, the reactive parts that surface during difficult moments, and the steadier, more grounded core that embodies clarity, wisdom, and compassion. As participants become more familiar with these inner dynamics, they are invited to explore new ways of responding with greater intention and self-awareness in both personal and professional settings. Through guided reflection, dialogue, and experiential practices, participants will be introduced to accessible tools for engaging with their inner world in a respectful and supportive way. The experience encourages the development of self-awareness, emotional regulation, and compassionate inner dialogue while offering practical strategies that can be adapted to each educator’s unique circumstances. Rather than prescribing a single path, the day creates opportunities to cultivate greater balance, resilience, and authenticity in the ways educators care for themselves and those they serve. Eligible for 6 hours CTLE credit. Can use 1 consortium seat. Eligible for Guidance Consortium. If district pays, district approval must be confirmed prior to start of session.
