Digital Learning, Ed Tech, and AI – Oh My! (3 VIRTUAL Half-Days) facilitated by Dr. Stacey Mooney – 8:30-11:30am

Audience: K-12 Educators, Library & Media Specialists, Guidance Counselors, Instructional Technology Specialists & Directors, Instructional Coaches, Support Staff Come explore the opportunities, navigate the challenges, and demystify the “Oh My!” of digital learning, Ed Tech, and AI! Technology is transforming education at lightning speed-but are we keeping pace? Join us for an engaging, exploration of digital learning, educational technology, AI, digital citizenship, and student well-being. Participants will unpack emerging laws and regulations, explore ethical and responsible technology use, and discover practical strategies for integrating AI and high-quality instructional technology into K-12 learning. Together, we’ll examine how to help students think critically, navigate digital and social media, protect their privacy, build a positive digital footprint, communicate responsibly, and interact safely and wisely in an increasingly digital world. The workshop will also connect digital learning to the NYS Next Generation K-12 Computer Science and Digital Fluency Learning Standards, SEL, and student mental health. Eligible for 9 hours CTLE credit. Can use 1-1/2 consortium seats. If district pays, district approval must be confirmed prior to start of session.
