Mindfulness in Schools *IN PERSON* presented by Dr. Scott Silverman – 8:30-2:30pm

April 23 @ 8:30 am - 2:30 pm

Mindfulness in Schools is an evidence-based professional development workshop designed to equip school personnel with practical, accessible tools to reduce stress, enhance emotional regulation, and improve classroom climate. Through interactive activities, guided practices, and reflective discussions, participants will explore how mindfulness fosters well-being, presence, and resilience – for themselves and their students. Many real life examples, including data showing what students like most will be used. This training supports educators in shifting from “autopilot” to intentional awareness, enhancing their ability to respond to challenges calmly and compassionately. Participants learn how to integrate simple, research-supported mindfulness practices into daily routines, instructional time, therapeutic sessions, and schoolwide culture. Audience: Teachers & School Staff Eligible for 6 hours CTLE credit. Can use 1 Consortium seat. If district pays, district approval must be confirmed prior to start of session.
