Navigating the Shift: Understanding the Transition from APPR to STEPS *IN PERSON* facilitated by Emma Klimek – 8:30-10:30am

This session will provide an overview of the similarities and differences between the APPR and the new STEPS framework. The goal is to:-build a common understanding of the new system, -explore the purpose behind the legislative change, and -begin identifying what these shifts may mean for districts. Together, participants will examine guiding questions to frame future work, including how changes may affect contracts, teacher evaluation processes, and next steps for local implementation. Audience: District- and building-level leaders, including superintendents, assistant superintendents, and anyone engaged in APPR and STEPS implementation planning.Eligible for 2 hours CTLE credit.
