Small Group Literacy Instruction that Moves Readers Forward VIRTUAL workshop presented by Katie Leo, M.S.Ed – 8:30-2:30pm

This workshop supports educators in planning and delivering effective small group literacy instruction tailored to student needs. Participants will explore how to group students strategically using assessment data, select appropriate texts and instructional targets, and differentiate instruction for a range of learners. The session focuses on high-impact practices such as guided reading, structured decoding routines, and comprehension strategy instruction. Educators will also learn to manage classroom routines that allow small groups to thrive while ensuring meaningful independent practice for all students.Eligible for 6 hours CTLE credit. Can use 1-1/2 Consortium seats.If district pays, district approval must be confirmed prior to start of session.
