The Organized Reader: Integrating Executive Functioning Support into Literacy Instruction 6-12 – 3-hour VIRTUAL workshop facilitated by Jacki Beckerman & Randall Klein – 8:30-11:30am
November 4 @ 8:30 am - 11:30 am
Reading and writing require significant executive functioning demands, from working memory to organization and self-monitoring. This session bridges literacy instruction with cognitive skill development. Educators will learn low-prep strategies that help students manage comprehension, organize written responses, and navigate multi-step literacy tasks with greater independence and less frustration. Eligible for 3 hours CTLE credit. Can use 1/2 consortium seat. If district pays, district approved must be confirmed prior to start of session.
