Making MTSS Work: A Collegial Circle for Moving from Framework to Daily Practice – Five 1-1/2 Hour VIRTUAL Sessions facilitated by Nicole Moriarty, Ed.D. – 8:30-10am
MTSS is not another initiative-it’s how schools bring everything together to support every learner. Yet for many teams, it can feel fragmented, inconsistent, or difficult to implement meaningfully. This 5-session collegial circle is designed as a collaborative, reflective space for educators and leaders to learn with and from one another while strengthening their MTSS practices. Rather than a traditional workshop, this series centers shared experiences, real challenges, and collective problem-solving-guided by research-based practices and expert facilitation. Grounded in the essential components of effective MTSS, including leadership, tiered supports, assessment, problem-solving, and system-level infrastructure-participants will engage in structured dialogue, examine current practices, and apply learning directly to their own contexts. Together, participants will: -Build a shared understanding of MTSS and align vision across teams -Reflect on current systems and identify strengths and gaps -Engage in collaborative problem-solving around real challenges -Strengthen practices that lead to more responsive and effective student support -Leave with practical tools, strategies, and next steps for implementation This collegial circle is ideal for district and school leaders, MTSS teams, and educators who are ready to move from “we have MTSS” to “MTSS is working- we built it together.” Proof of attendance can be provided per meeting. Zoom link will be provided a couple days before each virtual session. Frontline attendance will be completed after last session. Eligible for 7-1/2 hours CTLE credit. Can use 1 consortium seat. THIS ONE REGISTRATION fee includes all 5 (1-1/2-hour) sessions regardless how many you attend. If district pays, district approval must be confirmed prior to start of session.
