Advanced Leadership Strategies for CSE/CPSE Chairpersons (Part 2) Facilitated by Consulting that Makes a Difference *IN PERSON* – 8:30-2:30pm

Building on the foundational knowledge gained in Part 1, this advanced, interactive workshop focuses on strengthening the leadership skills necessary to navigate the complex responsibilities of CSE/CPSE Chairpersons. Participants will explore practical strategies for facilitating productive meetings, managing challenging conversations, resolving disagreements, addressing parent concerns, and making informed, student-centered decisions regarding evaluations, eligibility, services, and placements. Through real-world examples, collaborative problem-solving, role-playing, and scenario-based discussions, participants will strengthen their ability to apply legal and regulatory requirements while navigating difficult situations with confidence and professionalism. Emphasis will be placed on effective communication, conflict resolution, sound professional judgment, and fostering positive relationships with families and school personnel. Designed for chairpersons seeking to enhance their leadership effectiveness, this workshop provides practical tools and strategies to promote consistent, collaborative, and legally defensible CSE/CPSE practices. Eligible for 6 hours CTLE credit. If district pays, district approval must be confirmed prior to start of session.
