Expanding Our Knowledge of Small Group Work in Reading- K-3 3-hour Workshop *IN PERSON* facilitated by Karen Lucchese – 8:30-11:30am
Participants in this workshop will spend the morning exploring the goals of small group instruction and how to achieve them within the classroom setting. A monthly system of designing small group instruction will be taught so that the classroom teacher is organized and the group meets the needs of the students. The educators will learn how to use various data to place children into the appropriate group. Together we will create small group routines that will help students navigate materials and allow for the teacher to continue to collect data. Eligible for 3 hours CTLE credit. If district pays, district approved must be confirmed prior to start of session. Can use 1/2 consortium seat.
