This workshop will focus on the theoretical model: The Not So Simple View of Writing (Berninger & Winn, 2006) and how it can guide our instruction in the writing classroom. During the workshop, we will lean into transcription skills such as handwriting and briefly discuss sentence level instruction. Audience: All Elementary classroom teachers, all content areas and subgroups Eligible for 3 hours CTLE credit. If district pays, district approval must be confirmed prior to start of session.
