Prepare for Nationally Recognized Certifications

Learn the skills and knowledge necessary to be a valuable auto technician. You will learn to use up-to-date electronic diagnostic equipment, measurement devices and standard hand tools to precisely diagnose, service and repair cars, SUV’s and light duty trucks. The Automotive Technical Training program at Western Suffolk BOCES is accredited by the Automotive Service Excellence Education Foundation.

BOCES’ program offers a low student-to-teacher ratio that allows many opportunities for highly personalized, hands-on instruction. The program helps prepares students to work in auto dealer-ships, auto repair shops or similar settings as an entry-level automotive technician. Classes are held at Wilson Technological Center’s Northport campus.

“ASE Education Foundation accreditation means credibility, prestige and recognition for excellence.”
